Raymond "Kidd O" Oliver was born September 1st, 1991 in Racine, WI and raised in Kalamazoo, MI at the age of 2, by his mother.

Oliver's interest in rap and poetry surfaced at the age of 10, as he already displayed a previous love for music while playing the cello in his school's orchestra. He strayed away from music for a short time to pursue another love of his; Skateboarding. After failed efforts to get sponsored by local skate shops, he decided to become serious about perfecting his craft and returned to pursuing his musical career at the age of 14.

Having been raised in a Christian household, Oliver received a lack of support due to the content and style of music. Despite the failure to making music in his mother's image, he continued to pursue his career, and developed his own hip hop sound.

Oliver's hip hop influences include artists : Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, Big L and more. He also has R&B influences that include : Musiq Soulchild, Ryan Leslie, D'angelo and Raphael Saadiq.

He has collaborated with Detroit producer and songwriter KeY Wane, who has worked with names such as Beyonce, Drake, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and Wale. Kidd has also collaborated with artist D Willz of the Bay and Los Angeles area , who won MTV U's "Best Freshman Video" in 2012.

Oliver released his first mixtape, "Imagine That" in 2009. His second mixtape, "Melodies of Memories", which had the two singles "Losing My Mind" and "My Life" was released late 2012. After a long hiatus from music, Kidd O decides to name his next project "LovE" (Life Opens Vast Emotion). Though there is no set date on the new music, the long wait is soon to be over.
